In 1948, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in baseball when he stepped onto the field for the Brooklyn Dodgers in his MLB debut. honored the legacy of the iconic civil rights activist and baseball hero with the Dunk Low Jackie Robinson. The Dunk Low Jackie Robinson boasts a Brooklyn Dodgers color palette with a light grey Durabuck upper, royal blue leather overlays, an embroidered mini-Swoosh at the toe, and a felted side Swoosh - reminiscent of baseball caps in the late-1940s. Throughout the design, Robinson's famous quote, "I'm not concerned with you liking or disliking me... All I ask is that you respect me as a human being", is printed in a pattern format. At the heel, Robinson's number 42 is embroidered, providing a custom feel.
